In partnership with The Roost, the Provibers hosted Five Letter Word, a harmony-driven folk band from Portland, Oregon for their Bellingham debut!
In true Proviber style, the evening was dedicated to creating safe space for deeper human connection all backed by the sounds from three singer-songwriters and a slew of stringed instruments. Proceeds from the show benefited our organization so that we can continue to create more intentional experiences in our community.
Five Letter Word is a Portland-based trio of powerful women that draws on influences including the Wailin’ Jennys, the Dixie Chicks, Joni Mitchell, and Emmylou Harris, blending their harmonies into songs from bluegrass to gypsy jazz and beyond. www.
Five Letter Word consists of Leigh Jones (vocals, guitar, percussion), Clara Baker (vocals, fiddle, guitar) and Audra Nemir (vocals, bass).
