On December 8th 2016, The Provibers assisted in the facilitation of CONNECT: an event aimed at catalyzing a social movement hosted by City of Vancouver, Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Coastal Health. This wonderfully successful event engaged community and policy leaders from the Lower Mainland around the common goal of increasing social connection.
The Provibers ran engagement activations throughout the event, connecting attendees in between the conference sessions with fun and humorous challenges. “Talk-o a Friend”, “Exchange of Charm”, “The Real Truth”, “Digital Detox” and “Award Yourself” were set up and enthusiastically run by the Proviber Team, allowing attendees learning about social connection to become active participants, engaging with each other, reinforcing the true meaning behind the event and cementing the importance of the sessions. By the end of the evening the room was abuzz with energy as former strangers were passionately discussing policies and programs to increase social connection in the cities that they love: a true success.
